School-based assessment papers are issued by the PEC in the form of an item bank. Punjab examination commission provides the user name and password for each school to log in and downloads these papers. All public and private schools can access the papers using their login details. These SBA papers are generated in three formats. Urdu medium, English medium, and bilingual There are multiple versions of the school-based assessment for 2023. These versions start from A to J.

Each government or private school can download any version of the paper. Each version’s paper answer keys are also provided with these SBA 2023 papers. If students study their course in Urdu, then download the Urdu version of the SBA papers. If students studied in the English medium, then download the English version papers. You can also print the paper version in both Urdu and English, which is bi-lingual.

SBA Papers 2023 PEC Guidelines:

Assessments of children are also done along with the teaching process to make the educational process successful. This process continues throughout the year. In the past, the PEC used to conduct the final exams for grades 1 to 8. PEC will send instructions for schools to create their own papers using the item bank. The heads of the school will also prepare the schedule themselves and organize the meetings. Like other classes, the papers will be printed by the school teachers themselves. The heads of schools will issue report cards to the children according to the given sample report card.

• The Paper will consist of two parts Paper A will also be objective style questions with four multiple-choice questions (MCQs). And one hour time will be given to solve it. Each question (MCQ) will carry two marks.
• The second part B will be essay-type questions which will have five questions and one hour forty-five to solve it. Each question will carry 10 marks
• PEC will prepare answer keys and rubrics with marking instructions and correct answer models.
• As per the government instructions, every school head teacher has an electronic tablet and it is also registered with SIS. Using the same tablet, the head teachers of each school will be prepared for the final exam.
