NSC Examination result 2023 for the national senior certificate (Matric) examination session held on December 7, 2022 will be released on January 20, 2023, at 6:00 AM (GMT+2) and will be made public for students.

Students’ results will be available online on the website of the DEB (department of basic education). Students can also obtain information about their grades by contacting the school where they are enrolled. Matric results will also be available at the examination center where a candidate attempts the papers.

Mrs. Angie Motshekga, the education minister, recently issued a statement in which she clearly mentioned that DBE will release the results on 19 January 2023, after verification outcome will be available for public on the next day.

Supplementary Examination 2023:

The Department of Basic Education will conduct the examinations for the students who fail in some subjects or want to improve their marks in 2023. Now that the NSC exam schedule has changed, there will be no papers in the session as usual in February or March.

Registration for the new exam schedule will begin on February 8, 2023. While the examination will start in the month of June. Students can check their Matric results online using their school ID, in print, or via SMS and USSD.

Candidates must create an account on the website eservices.gov.za in order to apply for re-checking online. After account creation, students can submit their application for re-marking the exam result. Already-registered candidates don’t need to register again.

They can login using their old user name and password. Remember* For re-enroll as a full time NSC candidate must enroll in 7 subjects and follow the SBA Requirements.

What to do if a candidate fails the Matric examination?

If you weren’t successful in your exams, you should consider signing up as a full-time repeater candidate at a school without delay for the National Senior Certificate (NSC). An additional option is to pursue vocational education and Training (FET) colleges which can be found in all South African provinces.

How To Apply For RE-CHECK OF EXAM 2023:

If a candidate wants to re-mark or re-check his examination marksheet, he or she will register online at www.eservices.gov.za or through their examination center. After this, students can apply for rechecking. The deadline for submitting a recheck application is February 3, 2023.

NATIONAL SENIOR CERTIFICATE (NSC) OCTOBER/NOVEMBER EXAMINATIONS:

National senior certificate examination will start from October 30, 2023 to December 7, 2023. While Orientation papers schedule is as below:
