NIOS will declare the result of all streams (Science, pre-medical, pre-engineering, arts, commerce and humanities) Class 10 for the year 2023 on its official website. The result of regular/private registered candidates will be declared in the 1st week of June 2023. Students who have appeared for the exam can check their result online by entering their enrollment number.

The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) has an online portal for students to check their results. Students can find their result by entering their enrollment number on the portal. They can also download the result in PDF format.

NIOS Board 10th Exam Result 2023 Through SMS:
Students can get their NIOS 10th class result by sending an SMS to the official number provided by NIOS. The format for the SMS is as follows: SMS – NIOS10<space>ROLLNUMBER – to 5676750 For example: NIOS10 123456 to 5676750.
RECHECK/RE-EVALUATION Result Board Exam:
Students who are unsatisfied with their NIOS result for 10th class can apply for the recheck/re-evaluation facility from the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS). Students from both the secondary (Class X) and senior secondary (Class XII) levels are eligible to apply.
Download and fill out the recheck/re-evaluation form available on the official website of NIOS. After the form is filled out with all the mandatory information, send it to the NIOS address along with a demand draught or payment order for the requisite fee.
After receiving the application, NIOS examination controller branch will review your request and will provide a new result. It will be thoroughly checked again by subject experts teachers and the final result will be declared accordingly.
UFM Letters:
UFM letters are issued by the NIOS Board examination department to make sure that all the students appearing for the exams abide by the rules and regulations. This letter acts as a reminder that any sort of cheating or foul play in the examination hall will be seriously looked upon and strict disciplinary action will be taken against them.
On-Demand Examination Result For Secondary & Senior Secondary:
On-Demand result will be available on the resultboards website in September 2023. On-Demand Examination (ODE) for secondary and senior secondary students will be released by the NIOS examination branch. Students who appeared in the ODE exam can check the online result of theory paper and the practical paper. Candidates can check the obtained marks in each component of the exam along with the total marks. Marksheet will be available on the NIOS website of resultboards for download.
Passing Marks In NIOS Class 10:
The passing marks for the NIOS 10th Class board exams are 33% for each subject. Candidate must score at least 33 marks out of 100 to pass the exam. If a student fail in one or more subjects, he will appear for re-evaluation or improvement of grades.
