Subject Wise Marks Detail:
BISE Sahiwal Board offers a variety of subjects for Matric examination, including some compulsory and optional subjects, depending on the group the student is enrolled in. The compulsory subjects are English, Urdu, Islamiat and Pakistan Studies. Other compulsory subject is Maths/General Maths/Computer Science, according to the group. For the science group, Physics, Biology and Chemistry are core subjects.
For the art group, Fine Arts is included and for the commerce group, Economics is compulsory. Each subject has a total of 100 marks, which is then divided into two categories: Theory, and Practical. Theory marks are usually 70% of the total marks and practical marks are 30%. BISE Sahiwal Board also offers optional subjects such as History, Geography, Civics, Physical Education.
